Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Love Notes, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Love Notes. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with notice provided through the app. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Love Notes is a private mobile application that allows two connected users (a "couple") to share notes, photos, voice messages, drawings, images, and other memories in a private, shared digital space.

The service is available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store). Some features require a Premium subscription.

Free tier: The free version of Love Notes is supported by advertising. By using the free tier, you acknowledge and agree that advertisements may be displayed within the app.

Love Notes is designed exclusively for adults and couples aged 13 or older (16 or older in the EU). It is not intended for children. We do not knowingly allow access to users under these age limits.

•Requires sign-in with a valid Google account to ensure secure authentication.

•No public chat features or interaction with strangers.

•Sharing illegal, abusive, or exploitative content is strictly prohibited.

To use Love Notes, you must create an account using a valid Google account. You are responsible for:

•Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

•All activity that occurs under your account.

•Ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

You must not share your account with anyone other than your partner. You are solely responsible for the security of your account.

You agree not to use Love Notes to:

•Upload, share, or store content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, offensive, violent, or defamatory.

•Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account or our systems.

•Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.

•Use the service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

•Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

•Attempt to manipulate, hack, or affect the functionality of the application.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Premium features are available via monthly or annual subscription, managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to the billing terms of the relevant platform.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.

Fair use of unlimited features: Where Love Notes describes a feature as "unlimited," this is subject to fair and reasonable personal use. "Unlimited" is not intended to cover automated, programmatic, commercial, or abusive usage patterns that exceed what a normal individual user would reasonably generate. We reserve the right to apply limits or suspend access to any account that we determine is abusing unlimited features or exceeding normal usage in a way that affects service quality for other users.

The free tier of Love Notes is supported by third-party advertising. Ads are served by trusted ad networks that may use cookies or device identifiers to deliver relevant ads. This is covered in detail in our Privacy Policy.

Premium subscribers do not see ads. By upgrading to Premium, you opt out of ad-supported content entirely.

You retain full ownership of all content you create within Love Notes (notes, photos, drawings, voice messages, etc.). By using the service, you grant Love Notes a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you and your partner.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will never use it for advertising, training AI models, or any purpose other than providing the Love Notes service.

If we detect or receive a report of content that violates our policies, we will take immediate action, including content removal and potential account suspension or termination.

Love Notes is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Love Notes and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the application or any part of it at any time, with or without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

You may stop using Love Notes at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.
