Safety Standards

Love Notes is designed exclusively for adults and couples. It is not intended for children or users under 13 years old (or the minimum age required in their region, which may be 16 in the EU).

We do not knowingly allow access to underage users. If we discover that a user is under the applicable minimum age, their account will be suspended immediately and their data deleted.

To create an account, users must sign in with a valid Google account. This requirement:

•Ensures a baseline level of identity verification.

•Helps prevent anonymous abuse and fake accounts.

•Allows us to take enforcement action on accounts that violate our policies.

Login credentials are managed entirely by Google. Love Notes never stores your password.

Love Notes has no public social features. There is no public feed, no discovery of strangers, no public profiles, and no ability to send unsolicited messages to users outside your connected partner.

All content shared within the app is strictly private between the two connected partners. Our team cannot read your notes or view your photos.

The following content is strictly prohibited within Love Notes:

•Illegal content of any kind, including content that exploits or endangers minors (CSAM).

•Violent, abusive, threatening, or harassing content.

•Content that promotes self-harm or eating disorders.

•Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.

•Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) or "revenge porn."

•Spam, phishing, or content designed to defraud.

Violations result in immediate account suspension and, where required by law, reporting to the relevant authorities.

If we detect or receive a verified report of content that violates our policies, we will:

•Remove the offending content immediately.

•Suspend or permanently delete the responsible account.

•Preserve evidence and cooperate fully with law enforcement if legally required.

We take a zero-tolerance approach to content that exploits, endangers, or harms any person.

Include as much detail as possible: a description of the issue, screenshots if available, and your account email. We review all reports and respond within 48 hours.

Love Notes will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies when required by law. This includes providing account data, content, and any other information relevant to a valid legal request.

We are committed to reporting illegal content — especially content that involves the exploitation of minors — to the appropriate authorities.

We may update these Safety Standards as the app evolves and as new risks emerge. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of Love Notes constitutes acceptance of the updated standards.
